Event Type: Coast-to-Coast Lecture Series
Event Title: Ride For World Health
Event Description: The 2006 Ride for World Health brings together medical students, healthcare professionals, and community representatives for a cross-country bicycle ride, raising awareness of global health issues and raising money to support the work of Partners in Health.

The Ride begins in San Francisco, CA on April 2, 2006 and concludes in Washington, D.C. on May 22, 2006.

Along the 3,700-mile route, R4WH will present its Coast-to-Coast Lecture Series, stopping at medical centers and community centers to open a dialogue on healthcare in the United States and abroad. We will also be disseminating a model global health curriculum developed in partnership with the Global Health Education Consortium and the International Federation of Medical Student Associations.
